Each time you change the photo in your photo frame, leave the old photo in there behind the new one. When you go to change it the time after that, it will be a lovely trip down memory lane for you (plus it saves having to find somewhere for the old photo to be kept once you remove it). I've been doing this since my kids were babies and it's a lovely reminder of how much they have grown.

Today I have 2 tips for you if you have a valance on your bed and are sick of it getting caught under the mattress while you are making your bed.

Tip 1:

Use a fitted sheet as your valance. It will cover the mattress and they come in a great range of colours.

Tip 2:

Take 4 nappy pins and pin each corner of your valance to your bottom mattress to stop it moving around.

Someone asked me the other day what I thought was the best way to store her handbags. There are lots of different ways to do this, many of which are dependent on the space you have in your room to store them. A few ways I would suggest are...

• Cloth bags or pillowcases
• Large Ziploc Bags
• Store smaller bags inside larger bags
• Plastic containers under the bed or on the shelf
• Purchase a handbag holder such as this from Howards Storage World
• Or a hanging organiser like this from IKEA
• Use some funky looking boxes and place a photo on the outside so you know where each bag is stored.
• Hooks on the wall

If you have a photo in a frame that you want to remove and it is stuck to the glass, warm the glasss with your hairdryer for a minute or two and it will unstick.
